For the love of food
I have always loved food. Be it buying, cooking or eating it I take great pleasure from everything to do with it. In particular, cooking has been a passion of mine for many years now. There is something deeply satisfying about creating a special dish from simple, fresh ingredients and watching the joy it brings to those who eat the meal. Food is an essential part of our lives, we eat every day and I believe we should be able to look forward to every meal, knowing that it is going to be an enjoyable experience and without worrying about how it will impact on our health. It's my belief that with a little bit of creativity in the kitchen you can produce any number of healthy meals that satisfy your taste buds and give your body the nutrition that it needs.
I am also very interested about what the future holds in terms of food sustainability and the growing need for alternative food sources. This has led me to working alongside Grub, an edible insect company, developing a series of recipes using insects as the protein source.
